Stephen Smith
I have been passionate about fitness since my Dad first brought me to the weight room at the YMCA when I was in junior high school. It has always been my goal to share that passion and hopefully give others the same enjoyment and benefits fitness and a healthy lifestyle have given to me.

In 2004 I began my career in the fitness industry and have been fortunate to serve clients in a wide range of capacities. As an ACE certified personal trainer, I have had the opportunity to help people reach their fitness goals on an individual training level. As a group fitness instructor , I have trained the barbell resistance classes Body Pump and Group Power. Focusing on cardio, I have been a Group Fight instructor as well as a Group Core instructor, teaching classes how to strengthen the abdominals and core.   Furthermore, I have been a fitness coach for a weight loss exercise/nutrition program as well a coach for a Cross Fit styled group fitness class.

My wide range of fitness experience and disciplines has given me the tools to not only coach from many different perspectives but also to relate to the many different clients I see from day to day. Drawing on my experience of personal training, coaching and teaching thousands of people in group fitness classes over the last 12 years, as well as my bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Southern California, helps me to relate, empathize and connect with every client in a way that is as unique as they are.
